Wish I was there too but it's back in the bloody car tomorrow!
Had quite a nice weekend but pissed off at going back to work. Keep Bill out the pub - he's been in one all weekend at the Marina Fountain Music Festival and should detox before he explodes.
Have a good journey, DD, if you haven't set off yet.

Don't wish to highjack this thread (meaning of course that we are about to), but what sort of music gets played at the Marina Fountain Music Festival?

Handel's Water Music?

Since it's a rock/bikers pub....George Frederick is notable by his absence!
This year we had a local rock/rhythm & blues band called Rhythm Doctors, Live Wire (a shit hot AC DC tribute), Full Circle (another local band who are mates) and just for fun a Status Quo tribute band! And yes, I was dancing to the latter!

To return the thread to the subject....
Bill has been to Cash & Carry today apparently and has spent 150 quid on messy stuff including cake mix, treacle, maple syrup, Angel Delight, custard etc for the DD visit (and maybe a bit leftover for me if I'm lucky!). And guess what? It looks like the first "private session" won't happen cos the guy has suddenly gone very quiet.
Why do people do that? Especially to someone like Dolly who is so sweet and needs the money? I'm not mentioning any names cos there might be a very good reason for them to suddenly back out (or indeed they may still turn up) but I do think people should be a bit more considerate of a girl who is travelling all the way from Belfast on a shoestring (uncomfortable but true).
Sorry, I'm just a bit miffed. Bill on the other hand is sleeping off his hangover somewhere!
Love
Hayley

DD here, sat in Mouse's front room!
I am a bit miffed myself.... can't understand it at all.
Life must go on however, and I'm off down the market and then off to the studio, hopefully Bill won't be feeling so hungover.
Thanks for the post Hayley... it's annoying when this kind of thing happens without reason or warning.
I'm sure something can be worked out!
*massive hugs*
P.S. Having a great trip so far, despite this little *hiccup* ...
