Similar theme I suppose to Katherine J and I might be imagining this but I do vaguely remember seeing a small picture in the Radio Times a few years ago of the lovely Carol Smilie getting pied on some kids programme, Sooty I think.

Anyone know?

On Carol V, I do seem, once again, to vaguely recollect her being gunged, possibly on one of Noel Edmonds shite Saturday night programmes a few years back

Carole Smilie was pied in a fake trailer for the National Lottery that preceded an episode of Jm Davidson's Generation Game. Ms Vorderman was indeed gunged on Noel's House Party/.

Both are on youtube, although I think the Smilie clip is without sound - Wambank, I vaguely remember, has a better version

She also pied herself repeatedly for Comic Relief. Don't know if that is on Youtube.

Wow! Never seen this before. What a treat.

Oddly perhaps, that wangernumb sketch didn't do a lot for me....it seemed a bit contrived, sort of aren't-I-a-great-sport but I'm only going to do-it-myself and use something "clean" like shaving cream.

Now, a really messy and disgusting splosh from above, or a bath in something really gungey would have been something else. (Or perhaps I'm just too-fussy and an ungrateful wretch.. )

I really like shaving cream pies (as you can see from my avatar!) but my only complaint with this skit is that the pies are a bit weak.

I think the weakness has more to do with Vordy's application of them (grazing her nose) rather than the pies themselves.
