Perhaps that should have read:

".... a pie-able person who could assist me"

But probably US$5 million wouldn't have been enough ???

Sorry, I don't believe in dismissing a whole country's occupants cos of a few bastards. Otherwise nobody would reply to UK e-mails cos of the bankers.

I do see what you're saying, but unfortunately the few 'bastards' do end up ruining the rest of the Nigeria's potential to create further business for their economy.

But it doesn't just happen in Nigeria, there are indeed plenty of people from other countries who are trying to be online 'Arthur Daley's' (but they aren't as lovable as him)

Unfortunately for the people of Nigeria, their country gets a bad name from this, and many of these people aren't even from there (and I have known a few people from there - all honest perfectly decent people). They move around to countries with loose laws that allow these sort of things. Once Nigeria finally tightens the laws on this, they will find a new country to operate out of.
