off topic (sorta) BACK UP EVERYTHING!!

no, I didn't have a disaster...
no, I didn't lose years worth of internet downloads...
no, my hard drive didn't die...
just imagine if I did!!!

yes, I took precautions before the inevitable did happen...
today I bought a new external USB hard drive (£80 for a 1 terrabyte model) and copied all my data (i.e. porn) onto it.
so if the worst happens, I can recover up until today....and I've also got room on it to backup all my other non-sploshy files too!

may I politely suggest that you all do the same! 8)

I read a post on a blog along the lines of 'people generally think about backing up their data 30 seconds too late - by which time its all gone...'

Thats a co-incidence snake, I got one of those the other day, same capacity, same price, from Maplins. I bet its the same model; I had to do something, my old 80gig dedicated 'splosh' external drive was nearly full. It took a while but I've copied all the stuff onto the new one so I reckon its fairly safe now. :)
Bottoms Up!

Sorry got sidetracked watching your avatar of Animal from the Muppets, Snake. Obviously two people work him, but was the one doing his arms an actual drummer, I wonder? I know Jack Parnell was the real drummer for Animal's sound. I also know he was based on Keith Moon, and actually is facially quite similar. Sorry, waiting for the kettle to boil...

LOL! I'm sure none of us store that sort of stuff on our computers! Good advice though, I really should think about setting something up!
