Here here, such a shame that they had to parade him around the pitch last weekend looking so ill.

I'lll remember him in his better days, they dont make fellas like him anymore a great manager and a gent with it.

RIP to a footy legend and one of the only guys to ever come close enough to bringing a major trophy back to the English isles since the 66 World Cup.

I'm not a huge footy fan - but I do love to watch a good game now and then.... He always seemed to be spot-on with his comments about the games I watched and he had an infectious enthusiasm that I've not seen anywhere else.... seemed like he knew the game inside out....

he will indeed be missed... he looked reall poorly at his commemorative englad germany match - so bad i didn't even recognise him :(

In fairness I just think it shows the class of the man, he was there still working raising money for his charities. Class.
