Hi
Ploughing my way through editing down a massive stills sets for Gilly's Silly House, I was amused by this pic. Needless to say it was taken last week when the sun was shining rather than yesterday when St Leonards managed three months worth of rain in three hours.
It reminded me of the old Skegness is So Bracing poster.
OK, just me then. More proper pics from the set this weekend (if people leave me alone and stop asking me to do free handouts for them!).

Oddly enough, that's what I thought. Sploshing pics would make good seaside postcards.

Ok, well the clothing isn't quite the same (I remembered it as a sailor suit) and obviously the angle is different but it wasn't a deliberate piss-take or anything, though one would be funny (and yes I know Viz did a cartoon one some time back).
Or perhaps they'd prefer this one as an ad (from the same set)...

Photoshop! Oh, wait, wrong forum...
Re: St Leonards is So Bracing
No Photoshopping here! It was all shot at Cooden, a very posh bit of beach about six miles away from me. And yes there were others around including two middle aged ladies who watched the whole thing with some bemusement.
It was a hot day. so I think they just thought the girls were 'cooling down'.

Bracing: i.e. "bloody cold"! Though I was there in about October. Nice cheap joke shop near the prom though.
