Messy Photos

Hi,
I'm posting this here on the suggestion of a member of the http://www.umd.net website, who thought it might be of interest to members of this forum.
I'm a professional photographer from South Manchester and I recently did a couple of sets of messy photos with a model I was working with. The bulk of my work is providing photographs to photographic libraries. I sometimes work with models to create images for library submission and at the same time I try to create some artistically interesting images for both my folio and for the model I'm working with.
Kelly, the model for this shoot, asked me if I was interested in working with her, I told her I was and suggested a list of possible themes. On that list were some ideas for messy images (I've often thought it would be interesting to create some messy images that are both very sexy and photographicaly interesting). After reading my list of ideas Kelly asked if we could do some messy shots. We picked four themes for the shoot - a posed pie fight, an art nude with model covered in shaving foam (based on a recent Claudia Schiffer image), Some images using chocolate and cream on her boobs, and set which involved covering Kelly in custard.
As normal I loaded a selection of the images to flickr, where they were found by a member of the umd.net website and they posted a link:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/ianbutty/s ... 007131095/
(You'll need a flickr account with the safety level set to moderate to see the topless/nude images)
I realised someone must have linked to them when my flickr views went through the roof and it wasn't long before I found the link and the discussion about the photos on that site. As a result of that discussion it was suggested I post about the photos here as this site has a more UK focus(?)
I've put a handful of the messy images out to the photographic libraries, but I'm really looking at them as portfolio images and a means of showing one of many styles of photography that I can do. So if anyone in the North West UK needs the services of a professsional photographer please get in touch - my rates are very reasonable [Never one to miss a chance to promote my services!]
I'm also uploading one or two images from the shoot directly to this website, so that those without flickr accounts can see them,
Thanks,
Ian.
