Bad news from Lake Asbo, I'm afraid; when we went there today we noticed tractor tracks over the ground leading to the pond and on reaching the pond found it all clean, sparkling and totally free of pondweed, some bastard having come and cleaned it out. A moment's silence, if you please.
But on the plus side, Big Andy's found us an absolute peach of a new location, a beautiful pond tucked away in a bit of land near his house. We went in there in schoolgirl uniforms to contribute to Hayley's schoolgirl pic drive, so there are some pictures on that thread - here's what we got up to while we were there.
These are hyperlinked thumbnails (click on 'em for the big piccies), the full sets are up now on the Wamdrogony main site.
Following our bout, I decided to swim out to the island in the middle of the pond while Jo elected to play in the mud by the side.

Great photos again, pity about the other pond, but the one you're in there looks wonderful, and still nice and muddy around the edge.
Keep on getting messy and sharing the results with us, always love to see your pics

I'm from Bristol, and from late 1998 - 2002 I ran a WAM club (TNMMC). After TNMMC closed I retired from WAM, but I've made a comeback and pleased to say TNMMC is back.

Congratulations Helen, Jo & Andy,
Another great set of photo's demonstrating a real sense of fun and humour. It is so much better when there is a thread connecting each picture. I loved Helen kicking Jo into the pond, before "accidentally" being pulled in herself. Good to see more badly behaved schoolgirls!

Yes, excellent stuff. Looks a lot of fun.
Sorry to hear about Lake Asbo. As one of those worthy individuals who used to clear ponds, rivers etc for a conservation group when I was a kid I now realise it was vandalism of the worst kind.
