... or do you prefer the term 'Trekkers'?
As a mild Star Trek nerd (I'd rate myself warp factor 7 in nerdiness) I'm getting excited to see the new Star Trek flick. It got me wondering who else on the Splosh forums might also be a closet Trekkie/Trekker.
Stand up and be counted! And don't forget to tell us just how much of a fan you are ... is it just a passing interest, or are you a fountain of knowledge and the proud owner of a replica phaser?

ps: Deanna Troi VS Seven of Nine - choc cream pies set to stun anyone?

One to beam up
I've never seen the original series, but watched all of voyager and am making my way through the next generation (the best one), and saw a few of the god-awful enterprise.
So therefore Picard is the best captain (age-old debate), but seven of nine gets my vote over councillor Troi
And the new film looks damn good

Suspect my name gives me away, as that is the classification for experimental Starships, anyone needs any geek knowledge then please feel free to ask, and I will try my best. Deep Spcae Nine fan as well, so not your traditional Trek fan LOL!

I am a Trekkie. Seen the orignal threw Enterprise. Seen all the movies.
I guess I was one of the few who liked Enterprise nor did I mind Star Trek the final frontier.
Thou I do agree it wasn't as good as the others.
I can't wait to see the new movie.

NX - I'm a fan of Deep Space Nine, though hardly an expert on it. Haven't seen it in ages.
I'm delighted to see so many fellow fans here, but not that surprised - Star Trek RULES!
By the way - one of my favourite Jim Carrey scenes ever is when he does the Spock Vs Kirk routine in Cable Guy. Classic!

Never been a fan, but the new movie looks very good. And the new captain looks hot!
