Well, not quite, but I did draw Mon Mome in the sweepstake held at my parents' block of retirement flats! So I get £25 (forced out of the arthritic hands of the residents!). Wish I'd had a quid on it for real now!

well.... I wasn't going to say anything, but since the topic's been raised... Mrs. Snake put £10 on the winner today at 100-1 !!!

so the snakes are now £1000 better off!... can't believe we won so much!
just need to decide how to spend it now....
