Was reading my free "Metro" paper on the bus today and stumbled upon this article in the "Guilty Pleasures" section .

" News from the molehill.

Which comedian so enjoyed their stint in a bath of beans for charity that they now do it as a regular birthday treat each year? The worrying part is they seem to get a sexual thrill from it."

Yes, I saw that, too. There can't be too many candidates..... on the other hand, I strongly suspect most such anonymous stories of having been made up

I saw it too . . . .. it does say comedian and not comedienne if that narrows it down a bit . . . . . unless, of course, the trend is for using unisex nouns in this case.

( mourns the loss of the word actress ! )

So, who has done the charity bean bath thing in the last few years . . . . . it should be an easy task for some super sleuth from the forum, to go back in the archives locally and nationally . . . . .

. . . word to the wise, if someone who like to think of themselves as a professional funnyman/woman offers you beans on toast, then just politely decline . . . . unless you want to run the risk of , well I need not explain . . . !
