Confessions of a Wam fetishist

Evening all. I just signed up tonight after reading the board over a few evenings.

I feel like WAM is causing me a problem; It is a real fetish for me, and I find it more of a turn on than stockings, lingerie etc. I am a straight man, married for 8 years (been with my wife for 11) and I love her to bits. The problem is that my wife isn't into WAM.

We've tried it a few times and things always seem to go 'wrong'. For example, once, we tried using a mix I had made from cornflour and as it was a cold night, we had warmed it - it was too hot for her. Have tried a couple of things with custard, shaving foam etc but what I would really love to do is completely cover her and for her to enjoy it. She could be covered in slime but if she isn't looking like it is fun, then it isn't going to be any good for me.

I browse WAM sites and look at the photos and videos but instead of thinking 'wow that girl looks hot' I think 'wow, my wife would look hot if we could do that'.

Has anyone here had similar experience and how do you deal with it, or how do you overcome it, if you are in (or been in) a similar situation. Thanks.

Hi ACw,welcome I'm in a very similar situation,I enjoy Cd'ing & sploshing & only felt it fair she knew from the start what I was into.She was very accepting about it & was curious,After a few months she said she'd like to try it,the first time she enjoyed it & had fun,but the second time she didnt enjoy it & decided it wasnt for her!
We've talked about it occasionally,but I accept the fact it's not what she's into so I dont impose it on her!
The only advice I can give is that if she has made it clear she's just not into it,let her know thats fine & just be decent & dont wave your browsing in her face.

If she was willing to try before, she probably isn't against the idea. When we first started playing with a little food, I HATED it - everything we used was freezing. So I get where your missus is coming from. So my tip would be check the temperature before you go flinging stuff at each other - dunk your hand in and see. Warm stuff rules, and keep the room at a nice temperature, don't use anything too smelly or that she would find gross - so make it as pleasant for her as possible and make sure she gets hers and feels hot! I was worried about looking sexy covered in goo, but his reactions changed that! Also, *tell* her what you told us about how you think she would look hot doing whatever the chicks in the vids you see are doing if you haven't!

And lastly, how was her reaction to your play with custard and foam? If she liked it, just ask her if you can fully cover her and then show her your appreciation (read: do the living hell out of her ) If she doesn't find it particularly moist-making, that doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy it. There are lots of things that get me more hot than sploshing does, but I love it anyway. Its so much fun, I love dressing up and taking pics and I love my fiances reactions!

I'd agree with andi41 above ^^^^^ .
You've been with your wife 11 years and love her, so you obviously have a good and stable relationship which has worked so far, and, no doubt, as with all successful partnerships, this must have involved some compromises and understanding of each others feelings and views on many things.
Your wife doesn't seem to be freaked-out by your fetish (lots of people would be less understanding!), so it might be best to accept her views, not pressurise her, and hang on to the great relationship you seem to have. Everyone's ideas change over time, and she may be more willing to reconsider in the future.

Thanks guys for your responses. Andi, interesting comment about the browsing - in some of our talks about this I have shown her some of the websites and some of my favourite pics and why. Eden, it is great to hear from a female who has some similar experiences and Etonman, you have some very wise words about the relationship that my wife and I have.

Her reaction to the foam wasn't great - it was the first time she had tried anything. The first time I tried custard was a disaster - I made it too thin so tried (stupidly) to thicken it with flour and it was a nightmare to wash out. A much later time we used custard it was more successful and we had fun, but she is still reluctant to try it again, it wasn't full coverage and she is very much against anything on her face and hair - face and total coverage is one of the biggest turn ons for me.

Not doing any more wam sessions with her sometimes drives me absolutely crazy, and I hope that one day we will just be able to try something out again without any inhibbitions. The things we have done have been fun, but not fully satisfying for either of us for various reasons. I like the idea of total coverage and whilst my wife sometimes has seemed to enjoy it, it is obviously not enough for her to want to try it again in a hurry.

I didn't used to like things in my hair very much, and I know other girls who don't either. I also thoroughly dislike getting anything in my eyes. I would say wait a while before bringing it up again and see what she says, and don't make the same mistakes re: preparation.
