I am going to a sex/BDSM convention in two months. I'm hoping to find some fellow sploshers to get messy with me. I'm planning to put up a drop cloth to protect the walls and carpet. However, what can I use to secure the drop cloth to the wall with out damaging the wall while removing the adhesion? Ideas or suggestions?

We've had good luck with masking tape - it's designed for exactly that purpose, and shouldn't rip paint off walls.

However it's not as sticky as something like duct tape, so you need to be sure you don't put it under too much tension. Make sure the cloth is loose hanging, so if you catch it with a foot you don't just pull the whole lot down on you
