Hi to all Sposhers. Although this is my first post here, I'd bought Splosh Magazine from its very issue (way back when even Bill Shipton was a lad....) and had many one-off mags and photosets from various sources in the 1970's.

Over the years I've seen thousands (?) of very attractive women appearing in wet, messy or wet-and-messy pics, TV shows, films, websites music videos etc. and I simply must ask a question that's been driving me mad for years - where did the photographers find them!

Don't get spooked, it's a theoretical question only - I'm just facinated to know how these girls developed their interest in WAM and what got them into doing it for real, both in private and in public and on film.

At one end of the scale there are what I would call the "professionals" - those models who appear in all varieties of genuinly pornographic pics on all sorts of x-rated websites. I guess for them something as simple as diving into a luxury swimming pool fully clothed must be a real break from giving a horse a blow-job (no, really.....) so I'm discounting them on principle.

At the other end of the scale there are many pictures that are obviously taken by one guy with his partner in their own home, in their own shower or bedroom. Nothing complicated, just fun for them. Maybe this category includes "C" in the photosets here on the Splosh forum pages from "C&T" - she looks like a perfectly normal, attractive, woman who's prepared to be gunged and seems to be reasonably happy with what's happening to her. I don't know if she actually enjoys it, but the point is that she IS doing it, she looks perfectly relaxed about it and (a different issue) is prepared to be photgraphed in some pretty intimate WAM moments.

And there are many women in the middle of this range, like Messy Mercedes - very attractive, producing well photographed images from a professional studio and again looking as if they genuinely enjoy it. Personally I think they probably do - frankly, if they could act that much pretended pleasure then they'd be in Hollywood, not an Essex mud creek.

WAM has always seemed, to me, to be a very very male fetish. Over the years I've asked a couple of female partners to try just the simplest of adventures, getting wet with (a few) clothes on. One girlfriend was prepared to get into a bath in her teeshirt and pants, but it didn't work and wasn't repeated. Both my wives have refused to do anything messy (one accompanied by some real tears and a very painful row....) - I'm not a monster so I sadly dropped the subject.

So I've spent several decades missing out on what is to me the strongest sexually experence I can imagine - that's the problem really, I've only been able to imagine it!

So thanks "C", Messy Mercedes and all the other lovely ladies who have brightened my days - but how on earth did the photographers find you and get you onto the pages (real and electronic) in such fabulous wet and messy pics!

I see your point, I have only persuaded one girlfriend to marginally indulge me.

She did'nt like the mixture of smells and taste from actual food but did like baby oil and shaving foam down the front of a french maids outfit I bought her (she was OK about dressing up)

well personally, it was something that ive always liked, but having had a messphobe husband for a long time couldnt do anything about it.

Soon as I left him I contacted bill, sent him some pics and asked if I could do a shoot.... he said yes and that was basically it. all this was around exactly this time last year

I then introduced myself as candy custard posted some personal pics of mine and was approached by dids, the photographer for messymercedes...

I also approached mike nomic myself having heard from dolly that he did muddy pics and vid...

Just chatting to my partner about this....her personal view is that, for a female is that it's either a "yes" or "no" indulgence, and trying to persuade a girl to go against her instincts is likely just to lead to rows and problems.

As she says, most girls take a lot of time and effort in their appearance, clothes, make-up and overall looks, and apart from feeling good, also enjoy other peoples (especially male) comment and appreciation.....to think that a guy would then get turned on by messing them up takes a considerable mind-shift if they have no inclination or previous knowledge of wam.

"Dressing up" for a partner seems a different matter, as she says, she likes to look good in day clothes, but also enjoys, in private, looking good as the French Maid or the Christmas Fairy.
(The Christmas Fairy was supposed to be this year's surprise, but thanks to certain younger members of the family infecting me with flu of a severity approaching that of The Black Death, it looks as though the magic is likely going to have to wait another 12 months. )

I don't necessarily think its a male fetish - as you said, there are plenty of us chicks who love getting messy - like Candy and Mercedes, for example. However, I do agree with the "mind shift" Etonman mentioned. Jon, my other half, had wanted to try it for a while and I wasn't keen, but I love the dirty bugger so I agreed and found I loved it. I do like getting dressed up outside of wam so it works out well for both of us.

I've also done a couple of shoots for Bill and Gilly. Jon and I posted some pics here and Bill mentioned coming up. It took a while, but that was it really!

Eden is right, there are many girls out there into it, and more who are okay with trying it. My best successes are through a combination of looking for the right cues, a certain demographic, and paying attention to their reactions to the right approaches. Whatever you do, though, DO NOT push too hard when it comes to finally asking them to join you in a session.

On the model side, though, have you contacted any of the producers directly? I know that in N.A., One Model Place & Craigslist were good spots for people getting models, as were word-of-mouth referrals & the occasional off-campus University job posting. You might want to have a 3rd party review your ad first, as well; posting "looking for hot, big-boobed blond girl to wallow naked in deep nacho cheese vat - must bring own dildo" might come off as a little too, ah, forward. (On the other hand, you could strike gold. Whatever. )

A previous byfriend introduced me to it - soon I was craving it more than him. I just think its hot to trash your clothes and get pies and gunge all over you - makes me feel extremely horny just thinking about it!! True sploshers are born, not made...you can always tell - I think - if someone is simply going through the motions for a shoot...Good luck in finding the girl of your dreams - there are plenty of crazy girls like me out there - you just have to look...!! xx

Well as the photographer of Messymercedes i can tell her story.

My full-time job is a taxi owner/driver and basically Cede was a regular user of my cab,she is fun and is up for anything so i chatted her up while i was still doing the shoots for the old Wamchantelle website as to whether she would like to have a go.
She hadnt a clue what i was talking about so i gave the website url to have a look at it.
3 hours later she was on the phone to me saying it looked fun and she wanted a try.

She did her first 2 shoots for chantelle then broke her bloody leg.

Chantelle in the meantime became pregnant and decided to call it a day although she does still get herself messy occassionally still.

Some months later Cede contacted me about doing some more and we started her own website.
She absolutely loves it and her ideas are brilliant and we have had loads of laughs.

Unfortunately both her full time job and mine are very demanding and we have had to cease for a while, we are hoping to restart with a download store which is not so much pressure on us but with all this financial turmoil around at the moment things have been put on hold indefinately due to the costs involved in the revamp etc.

OK i knew Cede as a person but used the technique with her as i have with other girls namely Allysa,Nicole etc and of course Candy who i approached after seeing her picture who have appeared here and on umd over the years, basically just ask the girl and explain what you want.

Thanks for the comments about us.......I have never had any photographic training,i just point and click and we certainly have never used a studio ever,its either in Cede's bathroom,lounge or hallway or over the fields,woods or the creek

Another method I find works well is shouting at girls in the street and asking them if they want to get messy.
