I'm new here, but not to wam.
I've been working on a messy game and i'm looking for some feedback.
First of all a bit of history. I've made a couple of messy games in the past. The first was for the amazing and saucy Clown Julie. You had to throw pies at her and get the highest score possible. It was a silly small game but it made some FHM top 100 listing (sexy websites I think), Clown Julie was described as "a saucy french maid" by them and they were spot on! She's amazing. I also made the quiz game on the awesome Gungegirls.com. You answer questions, get them right and a poor innocent woman gets messy. Very simple (PS. Noise is a legend).
I'm having a go at something different now. The past stuff has been in Flash, which is fun but like drunken sex it's over pretty quickly. I've turned my hand to a very scientific, mathematical and tactical game that is simply known as "Gunge Wars". This game is very serious! You need at least A-Level maths (before they made them easy too!) to play
Not really. I've posted about this game on umd yonks ago, but tbh it was nowhere near finished so it was basically bobbins. It still isn't finished, but its at a point where I need people to test it and tell me what is good, what is bad and any errors they find (and you will find them).
The game is simple and harmless enough. Sign up and create your squad in three easy steps (don't select friends, its a different thing but something you're welcome to read up on if it interests you) Manage your squad by purchasing weapons (you are given some custard pies when you join to stop the thing crashing
) set training, tactics, individual strategies, etc. Then challenge another squad to a fight and <del>watch</del> read the goo fly about! It is all free, there are no stupid banner ads or popups and I won't sell email addresses.
I think the game could be fun and i've built it around what I feel wam is. It's fun, slapstick at times, it can be slightly naughty and always very very messy. I am enjoying making it, but i'd enjoy it more once its finished and others are hopefully causing mayhem in the gunge pits.
If anyone has tested it before then your account will still work, but i'd suggest creating a new one because there might be some things that don't work properly. On the challenge screen, if you want to challenge any new people then go straight to page 4. Beware 'The Gungegirls' as they're rather unbeatable. My team 'Awesome' are ok but slightly bobbins too so if you prepare well, go to sleep early and avoid red meat you'll stand a good chance of beating me.
I appreciate all feedback and thank you for your time. Ultimately the game is for silly people (not the sort the fraggles were obsessed by) to play silly games

If you're interested in the battle itself before visiting... You have 7 gunge warriors, the other squad has 7. You arm them, give them their instructions and then they battle it out in a "over the edge" battle. The aim is to make such a mess of your opponents they fall off the platform the battle is taking place on and into the surrounding pool of goo. Your imagination can add colour to the scene
