Hi, sploshers!
I'm looking for one of the TISWAS DVDs. One that heavily features Sally James, of course! However, it must be on NTSC format, as I'm in the US. Do any of you have any suggestions?
As an alternative, can any of you recommend some inexpensive PAL-NTSC conversion places, I can go to?

Dougie,
I've not tried this myself, but if you search on the internet there are easy ways to unlock your DVD player so that it plays multi-region. That you can buy any Limey (or should that be "Slimey") DVDs you want.
All the best,
Hooray4Clay

Interesting. Is it a CD you put in the DVD that adds a code to the player? Thanks for the suggestion!

I don't believe an NTSC DVD player will play a PAL disc in the same way a PAL DVD player will play an NTSC disc. (A PAL system expects more lines less often than a NTSC system, if it starts seeing fewer lines more often it can switch to NTSC. An NTSC system seeing extra lines must assume it missed the frame end and just assume one.)
However all is not lost. Your PC should be able to play a PAL disc just fine. You may need to accept a region change, which you may only be able to do a few times (well, not really, but the license requires this).

Yes, I know that PCs can play PAL DVDs. Honestly, I'd rather watch it on my TV! But thanks for the advice.
By the way, do any of the TISWAS compilations have good footage of Sally being sploshed?
