Today I experienced the most amazing mess!!!
Not your typical wamming situation I will admit, but one that really blew my mind!
I have been having some work done at home - a 1900's terrace house. I knew we had a dodgy ceilung, but had hoped it was capable of being repaired; no such luck!! Today my plasterer said the whole ceiling had to come down - so it did; with 100 years of soot piled above! You simply cannot imagine the mess!!
Unfortunately I was in working boy drab - v. old tee-shirt and trackie bottoms; however, I was able to fantisise what it might have been like had I been dressed - in say heels, nylons, a powder blue suit and a cream silk blouse.
So I would be sitting in my living room, reading some girly mag or other, while the workman start to take down my ceiling. Suddenly I am engulfed in thick black soot, but I have to go out and have no alternasive but to drive off in my car just as I am - as indeed happened today! You can imagine the looks I got as I drove through town; and the time it took to get clean; not to mention cleaning the shower afterwards!!
Sorry, but no opportunity to take pictures.
I wouldn't recommend this as a way to get messy; taking down a ceiling is a bit extreme!! Still it did produce one really messed up girll!!!
hugs,
Caroline
An amazing mess!

We have used soot many times as it comes as a free gift with a coal fire! It is hugely messy and gets everywhere but makes a great topping to something sticky like treacle (it is easier to get off that way too).
Building work is always a joy, though last time we had any done, Hay kept drooling over the materials - Aquaseal, Hammerite paint, plaster etc. Not sure what the builders made of her constant "How easy is that to get off?" questions.

Just so long as she wasn't drooling over the builders

Well, one did have a 'rather nice arse' according to her. Think she fantasised about him messing her up a good few times.
