All valid questions, though some people unlike myself and Bill for example dont spend their entire lives doing this, some people wish other people to respect their privacy.

If you cared to browse the forums you will see many posts where you can put a face to a name.

some people are naturally shy.maybe even scared of being recognised.remaining anonymous can let a person express themselves without prejudice or the fear of being recognised.

Real names are very rarely used on any web forums, fetish or otherwise.

It's a common-sense privacy and security issue.

And showing email addys is, of course, a sure way of getting your Inbox overflowing with spam.

Lol, ok. Sure. I show my face, though, and I'll be out of a very, very sweet job, so...no, no, and hell no. Avatars are quite enough, and even that's a lot for me.

I do find though, given time, that a lot of the names are reasonably descriptive of the people that use them. Mind you, Ir0n_S7UdXXX-L@r9e was taken by the time I signed up here, so I got stuck with the best I could cobble together before the registration screen timed out on me.
