Can anyone explain why in the past few months I've lost interest in Sploshing/WAM? :?

One minute couldn't got enough of it, always looking for an excuse to get messy, but now can't be bothered :(

Don't now if any of you out there are a Splosh psychologist  or not and can explain why I've lost interest or do I just need some pie rehabilitation :?:

Regards,
wamram

You may have reached your goal when you had a session, though once you get to that stage you have to set your sights higher, maybe its that, or maybe you just want a break.

regards

Andy

Yeah I don't know either it seems to go in phases for me too, I'm pretty sure other people I've chatted to seem the same.

Well, I just happen to be a splosher and have a psychology degree. (Not that I went to any of the lectures, but there you go.)

Don't worry. Shit happens and we all loose interest in sex and our fetishes from time to time. If you're feeling down generally, that might be why. But just don't worry about it too much and if you're feeling down or stressed just try to relax. Theres the doctor if anythings really bad. But like Andy said, maybe you need a break.

Or someone can dress as a sexy psychiatrist and give you some splosh therapy! A special pieing couch and a nice Germanic accent maybe. x

It's your splosh biorythms...nothing to worry about I reckon. If there's lots of other big things going on in life that might also explain it. A few messy pictures of Eden or Candy should sort you out

I think interest in most things like fetishes comes and goes, especially if you are looking at it every day. If you had chocolate for every breakfast you'd want a change now and then, however much you liked it.

The important thing is not to beat yourself up for liking or disliking it.

Good advice Bill. But how do you yourself manage to maintain such a constant and high level of 'interest'?

Well, it isn't the money!!

I like different aspects of it at different times, sometimes it's the comedy, sometimes it's the mild humiliation, sometimes it's the costumes.... Also I am surrounded by enthusiastic models and forum members whose attitude and ideas usually perk me up when I'm feeling 'sploshed out'.

Yes, I agree, being surrounded by 'up' / insane people in one's life does tend to make the down periods shorter. I had down times generally and non-wam times specifically in my life. They passed. Some days I turned down what was very obviously pity-sex from my wife (the really fun stuff would have been a different story, but even turning down pity-sex is significant for me, lol.)
My interest in wam in reality, wam fora, people, anything-but-sleeping is directly correlated to my internalization of the external factors in my life. If I let myself get overly busy is work (which, when you get down to it, is only work after all) or worried too much about the personal stuff in life (which is either small enough to deal with or too big to be in my control - so why am I sweating it so much?) my overal satisfaction and interest in pleasurable activities decreases. I now use that to monitor myself. If there is ever a string of days in a row where wam did not seem like an attractive concept, then I need to adjust something. Heck, even after a rough day, a sloppy massage is a really great idea if I am just too beat for something more actively participitatory.

(Did I do OK, Miss Eden? LOL, chem degree here, but isn't it all just how you run your neurochemicals that matters after all? :P

Writing out streams of self-analytical babble helps too! )

Have you lost interest in anything else, Wamram? Sometimes an abrupt change of mood can signal the onset of mild or more serious depression. If this is the case, you ought to seek medical advice.

Hoping you feel like wamming again soon.

I know exactly how you feel Wamram, There have been happenings this year which has really pissed me off as well, and to a large degree i have lost interest, i did mention it at the last Bristol meet to some present.

Basically i am now only doing pics when i wish to, i still have to make a living and in the current economic climate this means doing longer hours for me in my job,as my home and private life come before wam.

I will still be around and active on this forum and am not going to vanish but pics will be somewhat rarer than before.
