Wamdrogony forum temporarily buggered

Postby TottyMcGee » 10 Jul 2006, 02:12

A message for anyone here who's also a user of the Wamdrogony TG WAM forum;

Following a particularly spectacular server crash this weekend, it seems that the forum has done the dying fly, with all the databases, config files and SQL settings doing the big firework. It'll take a bit of time to get the server back to full operation again, and then a little more to rebuild the forum from back-ups, so for the time being the forum is down. Apologies for any inconvenience, we hope to be back up and running again soon.

Sorry to hear that Miss Helen, looks like were living here for a bit then, I have a hard enough time, getting my computer to work, never mind a server.

Is "buggered" the correct technical phrase, then?
Look, if you're all going to throw pies around would you mind throwing them at me!!!

Yay, we're back up again, but we had to use a three-week old back-up file to re-build from so everything posted recently is lost. Still, we're back in business. Thanks for all your messages of concern.
