but why do so many folk keep down loading their pix in the 'reverse / wrong' order?
(as it happens I quite like the backwards sequence)

Whoops, that's my fault. I'm aware that pictures are displayed in reverse order on the Splosh forum (probably on every phpBB forum on the internet). Normally I upload the pictures in reverse order so that when displayed the order is correct. But I forgot to do that with this post...
