Laws you may be breaking...

I found this while browsing the This Old House website under laws you might be breaking but not realize.

Lawmakers in the state of Virginia and in Canton, Ohio, must not want their citizens to bathe: Indoor tubs are against the law. Don't head to Portland, Oregon, for relief, either. While you can have an indoor tub there, you’ll have to use it while wearing "suitable clothing…that which reaches from the bather's neck to his knees and completely covers the body."

I might want to head to Portland JUST for that reason

I'll make sure I wear my clothes the next time I take a baht! :D
On a serious note, many places have ordinances against swimming/wading in their public fountains! :(

I remember seeing a similar one for the UK quite a while back. I think one of the laws that is still active is something about "Being allowed to shoot a Scotsman with a crossbow in York, so long as it's after 6pm".

Makes you wonder who came up with it o_O

^ The same applies to shooting a Welshman within the city limits of Chester and Hertford!
