For those who splosh for fun. How stocked is your Pantry?

I usually have a couple of items available to use for a spontaneous splosh in the house. I.e. a couple of cans of soup, some dried mash potato flakes. However if I get the urge for a splosh session I usually take a quick trip to the market to pick up stuff for the session.

Sometimes I might come across an item that looks promising and I'll pick it up but I might not use it that session and save it for later. Case in point the quick oats that I used in my pirate splosh a few days ago, I've had that container for months and only just got around to opening and using them. Dried goods have a great shelf life.

Other stuff gets used immediately so as to not raise questions as to why do I have 5 cans of shaving foam in the bathroom. I have a beard so it dosen't take that much to shave.

I do have to say knowing that I'm going to have a messy time is kinda stimulating  even if I can't mess immediately, but that's just my feeling on the whole getting messy part.

just curious to hear anyone elses take on stockpiling.

Cheers

I'm a bit inn/out of sploshing, so we tend to stock up when we're in the mood and then it all waits patiently in the cupboard until we're ready to use it. As it stands, we've plenty of custard and fillings (behind the tins) should the mood strike :)

I don't keep stuff in my pantry, but have a small wam store under my bed which generally has half a dozen or so cans of shaving foam and a huge amount of methylcellulose/natrasol powder in it.

I keep quite a large stock usually of custard and angel delight, as they are 2 cheap faves of mine

I try to keep plenty of pastry bases and stuff to make choccy batter with too... If I want other than that I make a trip to the supermarket

that reminds me actually last time we went for the margarine/treacle/porridge shoot, dids took great delight in telling the cashier when she casually enquired if we would be making flapjacks that in fact no we were not making flapjacks he was going to pour it over my head and run. She didnt believe us!

LMAO to that!

I cant really keep much stocked up as I live at home with my parents so they would notice if a cupboard got filled with custard, cream, shaving foam etc. Still, saying that, I do currently have a supply of 4 cans of shaving foam which I plan to use very very soon.

The other issue would be, if I had stuff stocked up, I would just want to use it all as soon as I got it!

Got the same problem with my parents... they know all my bad hiding places, and in fact, my 'good' hiding places too :? I realy want to tell the cashier what to do with the stuff, but I don't have the guts to do it
