Cake Batter

We have got some cake batter for tomorrow's mess (Keep the votes coming!) We got 500g of the mix. How much water should be used to get it like splosh use it, and to fill a bucket will we need more batter?

Doesn't it say anything on the packet? Last time I made up some batter I just kept adding water until it seemed right...trial and error. Hope you have a good sploshing

We use considerably more than 500g. I haven't weighed the sacks we get from Cash & Carry but they are at least 2.5 kilos each, and one makes a bucket full.
