Thanks for giving lots of warning. I hope that tis forum helps boost the numbers.

With mud meets in the summer and these all year, perhaps people are finally coming out of their closets.

Thanks, Hayley, for your support ! :D

However there is dissent in the ranks !!!!!!

A couple of people have asked about a Saturday option,
. . . . . . but, unless I am proved wrong, there is no more chance that MORE people will attend on a Saturday than say, on a Thursday.

Anyway, if people want to have a Saturday meet, then give a me a couple of days to sort things and maybe I can set a relavent date.

However it does throw a bit of confusion into the pot . . . . I hope no-one has made firm plans for the original date just yet.

Bear with me . . . . .

I don't think you should confuse it.

You have a formula that works, stick with it. If other people want a weekend date then let them organise something else at the weekend.

I know that I personally am more free at weekends (though precious few of those) but I wouldn't expect everything to be re-jigged around me, and neither should anyone else. Perhaps the weekend meets could be a separate entity.

As you know I've been shouting weekend or Fri please for a long time but I've managed to make the last two meets on week days and no doubt I'll make this one. Don't change it due to me hon. I think Hayleys idea of having an extra meet rather not moving this one is a great idea. I'll chat to you about it. Maybe we could organise a saturday meet where you come along but don't actually do the leg work for once. I know sounds impossible but you never know :D

Hey GS and Hayley !

Thanks again for words of wisdom, the seperate weekend meet could work, I don't see why not !

It was not not only this time round but from other times where the Saturday option is always brought up !

I just thought I'd throw it in and see what happened. But this sounds like a good way around the situation !

Where was you for Newcastle lol

Nothing stopping others from organizing meets :)

Also check out the umd, they are sorting something out for the north west, which seems to be developing well.

Yes, you, GS and Sploshman and no doubt a few others are quite right.

So the details remain the same. As much as I do like to take on board opinions . . . . in this case it would as people rightly say, confuse things. Damn my Libran mind !

The details:- as above in the first post on the thread . . . .

6.30pm
Thursday, 28th September
The Crown,
Brewer Street, ( corner of St James Streeet )
Soho
London W1

Nearest Tube station :- Piccadilly Circus ( on both the Piccadilly & Bakerloo Lines )

Any questions please feel free to PM me.
