Mercedes:I get Wet in a Waterlogged Field

I'm wearing black PVC thigh boots, black leather jacket & leather trousers.. ...see me slowly walk down a muddy hill & into a waterlogged field....you'll see me getting deeper & deeper until the tops of my boots are submerged. .....& kicking & splashing about having fun!! I broke the heel of one of my boots whilst in there too. ...you can see me by the side of the road afterwards tipping what was left of the water from my boots & checking out the snapped heel....

Out of curiosity, were the boots waterproof, or did they leak as you waded in? I like wearing wellies into water, it's a nice shock when they finally overtop and all the water rushes in - but doing that in thigh boots would really be quite a big shock, especially if the water was cold!

These boots had a full length zip an lacing at the back so they did allow water to seep in, but they didnt flood completely before i went over the tops.

I have several pairs that are pull on an they are great for floodin as they hardly leak at all
