Women's curiosity in WAM

Hey all!

Recently, there was a weather reporter from Canada who openly campaigned on the air about always wanting to take a pie in the face. It was her "dream" as she always put it.

When TUTV had their initial run on public access, I had one female viewer write in wondering how it would feel under all of those pies and slime. We obliged her request by the way!

Also, when we did our house call where we surprised a previous gungee, she was very apt into getting messy again.

My question is this: Have you ever had conversations with women who without you bringing it up have said something to the effect of, " I wonder what it would feel like to get all sloppy or to take a pie like they do on tv?"

Hi

Women discuss it with me a lot and many have messy fantasies (usually involving bathfuls of chocolate!). However I know several who have wanted to take part in pie fights and since Splosh! can honestly say that almost every girl who has appeared in the mag, on film or the website volunteered (ie they approached us rather than the other way round), I think a lot of women like the idea of abandoning themselves to mess once in a while.

I think that 'adults/grown-ups' have to be so sensible and distrusting of anything remotely silly these days that to throw a pie about or get gunged can be a complete release.
In terms of the sexual side things, maybe it's just seen as another perspective in being dominant and submissive?

i agree with mj.i think people need to be able to act daft once in a while.maybe as a release from a highly stressful job etc.some women may like being humiliated with gungings as part of submission.bloody hell,im sounding like a psycologist now!!

I agree Julie - I find a lot of the appeal of sploshing is thinking of the woman involved spending all that time over hair , make-up and clothes - just to have it messed up. There is something very illicitly exciting about this.

I'm so thankful that gorgeous women like yourself and Hayley have had such desires, and actually made them reality, for our extreme delight.

Just the thought of you tarting yourself up knowing that you're going to end up plastered in mess makes me go all dizzy......!!!

Yes, I do spend a lot of time getting ready for my (increasingly rare) messy sessions. For me, it's getting the clothes right that matters most and the role play that goes along with it. As I get older, I am becoming more and more obsessive about outfits and so destroying them (and me along with them) becomes more and more exciting.

For me, the thrill is spending ages getting tarted up knowing that I'm going to end up plastered in mess. And I love the tease value.

The things that Haley and Julie have said here fit with both my experience (as a messy TV :-)) and in conversations with the lovely ladies who I have been lucky enough to be messed up by, and who have occasionaly asked for a pie or two in return.

They have been universaly fascinated by the thought of getting messy in a situation where they can decide how it happens. And in the situations where I have gotten them messy they wanted to be looking fabulous and glam and this was part of the attraction. Indeed, turning this vision of beauty into a custard coated and dripping mess was the real attraction, and these sessions were never about sex, but more about having a lot of fun in a very silly way.

Talking about it with them it was clear that a few pies in the face and a couple of buckets of slop was a wonderful opportunity to escape the pressure of having to look good all the time. A chance to do something really silly without anyone judging or condeming them.

From my personal experience I probably spend as little as 10 percent of any messy session actually getting messed up. I find the build up almost the best bit and as we all know it takes time to look as great as we all do for our messy sets. Doing hair and makeup, picking the right clothes and shoes, getting into character (very important for me) and making all the pies is all part of it and having been lucky enough to have shared this experience with some lovely ladies I have to agree with the old phrase "Getting ready is half the fun".

Both my friends and I also found that the more roleplay that takes place before the mess starts flying the better. Especially when the pies have a central place. And sometimes you only need a single pie!

Sorry to have rambled on. To illustrate my point i have added a photo of me dolled up in full wedding gown and accessories. It took well over two hours to get ready (including 1 hour just to have my hair curled). All the time we both knew that ultimately a single pie was going to be used (I did not want to wreck the dress quite yet... it will happen at some stage) and I was teased all the way through getting ready. The result was I got to be a bride for a while and when looking my best took a silly pie in the face, and ruined all the hard work, and she got to have a real barbie doll to dress up and break the taboo of always being nice to the bride. We had a great time.

Well said starbrightnight...i'm with you all the way on that one. And for me, someone like Hayley who REALLY likes to trash herself with the filthiest, most staining foul messes is an added turn on :)

Recent example of a woman's curiosity was added to my video library. You can read the actual letter that this lovely schoolteacher wrote as well. She saw our show on public access and wondered what it would be like. Being in America, she mentions US TV experiences but I am sure there are tons of gals that are influenced by wondering what it must be like in a gunge tank ala Noel's in the UK.

Here is the letter:

Dear ThatsUnfair,

My name is Beth (last name removed) and I teach at (school name removed). I must admit that I am definitely a fan of this type of humor. I remember growing up watching shows like Family Double Dare and Fun House and wishing I could be a contestant. In fact, in the summer of 1993 my family sat in the audience of `What Would You Do` which was shot at Nick Studios and I was really hoping to go down the pie slide. That looked like sooo much fun. I just wanted to write in and say that I think your show is hilarious especially when you do the trivia and taste test games. What does a gal have to do to get slimed and/or pied around here?? J/K. or maybe??

Warm Regards,

Beth

Hi everyone, just discovered this site- you all seem a really great bunch, as with several other people I have had a (secret) long term desire to take part in sploshing. Since a very young age covering myself in messy stuff and wanting to be gunged (another big fan of Funhouse here!) resulted in several private 'experiments' in the bathroom. I always thought (again as several have mentioned) I was just weird until I discovered there were likeminded folk out there. I always been into the fetish scene and dominant dressing but whilst I enjoy the dressing up and the whole look, it doesn't really get me going in that way. After having explored this site I think I really have discovered my fetish now. Just have yet to tell my partner, not sure what he'd think.
For me I've decided its less about the food (although custard is an exception) and more just the texture of thick cold gloopy stuff :P I'd be happy to chat with any women or men about sploshing via pm. I was just wondering, it seems a fairly balanced mix of males & females who are into WAM (I'm female), would this be right? Lots of love- SD :D x

Having been into Splosh / WAM long before it had a name (around 25 years or so at least), my experience is that, like all 'fetishes', men are more open to discussing it (and probably more active in the field) than women. Membership of the UMD, for example, is predominantly male, although that is less noticeable (but still accurate, I suspect) here on the Splosh Forum.

Having said that, I really believe women enjoy this just as much (if not more) than men - and indeed know several that do, two of whom I introduced - its just that most haven't really tried it, or considered it, or know its a scene (but that's changing slowly, at least in the UK).

So - is the active WAM scene balanced in terms of sexes? I'd say a definitive 'no' - however, is WAM a gender neutral fetish? I'd say a definitive 'yes' to that.
