Not entirely sure what you wrote either, but I think Vera means don't put baked beans down the sink/plug hole or it'll block it up and your sink will flood.

You can also just wrap it up in trap, if you are tarping the room before the start.

Most foods are safe to use for wamming. But the best ones are messy desserts like Angel Delight and clotted cream.
