Looks like an impressive comedy line-up asdamax, unfortunately some of us OAPs can't afford subscription channels. (or prefer to spend our money on more modern stuff! )

I vaguely remember a Kenny Everett sketch where he's a householder who's replaced the living room floor with a swimming pool - and the local Baptists come round (vicar in usual black and dog collar gear, plus quite a few women in dresses) and jump in.

Were there any other sploshing scenes on the show? Obviously they's all have to be done in the best possible taste!

As has been said on a couple of other threads, The Kenny Everett BBC series wasn't particularly messy except for the !2 Days of Christmas sketch in the 1986 (?) Christmas Show. The latter has never been shown again as far as we know and is not available on DVD. It is therefore unlikely to make it this time.

Still has Cleo Rocos though when she was about 17!

Clearly the 80s are back for good. Arrgg.

I didn't post at the time since KE had made an appearance on the boards already but I was most impressed to find him on Tuesday night just gone 9pm Paramount 2.

Still raunchy and funny as it was back then, at least to me. Despite no mess !

Toyah was the pop input and it made me chuckle to see the 80's video effects !

I would love to go to the McBurgers featured there on that show ! Loved all the old characters . . . . BBC or ITV no matter, good to see him on the screens again ! And Cleo, of course !

I remember one Kenny Everett series having a section with a gunge tank where a celebrity was gunged each week. I only remember male celebritys getting gunged, I know Terry Wogan and Billy Connolly got gunged. I believe Lulu was also gunged but I didn't see the programme.

That was the earlier Thames TV series.
