I know, I know....
I abandoned the blog for a few months cos I've been busy but I'm starting it up again now. Hopefully there will be time to share some of the funnier stories from messy sessions and my occasionally mucky private life, lets hope so. You can't comment on the blog itself (cos we get inundated with spam) but any comments about it are welcome here.
To start with, at the request of...oooh....at least one of you, I've put up the complete version of the Top Ten Sploshing Foods article I wrote for Bizarre (rather than the rather disappointing, and, occasionally nonsensical abbreviated version they published). So pop over to the Gooey News Soggy Blog and have a look.
Sorry for not keeping it up in the past (the blog that is). I shall try harder this year.
Top Ten Sploshing Foods now on Blog
Very nice article, much better than the abbreviated version in the mag.
I can't remember the difference between semolina and tapioca. One is kind of like thick grainy custard and one is kind of like edible frogspawn. They'd both feel great down the pants but I have no idea which is which!
But who suggested fish paste? Blech!

Yeah, 'fess up! Who wants fish paste all over them?
Each to their own I suppose, some people love the stinky stuff, humiliation and all that jazz!

Cool article!
Black Treacle is interesting, because it is indeed S&M food when poured on (and getting wellies filled with it off is both an art form and an extreme sport at the same time!) - but once you break out the warm water hose, it all just melts away to nothing.
I also have it on very good authority from Lady Jasmine (who's tried it) that treacle mixed with warm water, making a thick-ish black liquid, feels absolutely fantastic when poured down inside clothes.

We have used the black treacle/warm water combo too in Sammy's Greasy Garage (on Gilly's Silly House), where it plays the parts of sump oil. It works extremely well and there were no complaints from Sammy having it poured in her dungarees!

Whatever makes you think you are hideous? Nothing could be further from the truth!![]()
What are you doing up at half past two in the morning, posting on here?
To be honest I am quite surprised at the (slightly tongue in cheek) revulsion at the fish paste, I always thought people were preaching tolerance here!

For the record I did a search and it was MessFreak who suggested that (http://www.splosh.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=24710#24710) along with another load of semi-yucky stuff. Which is fair enough, not going to get into the food vs pies vs humilation vs god knows what argument

I think custard suits you far better than fish paste eden, but I'm sure you'd look good in anything. As for posting at 2.30am, what are you doing posting at 11:42am Richard? Shouldn't you be up to something more productive

Slightly off topic.
Eden,
Are you actually a nocturnal creature? I realise that you are a student (and I'm not so old that I can't remember those days - or some of them when I wasn't paralytic!) and that your other activity probably involves evening work
) but when do you sleep? By your avatar you are stunningly good looking but beware of getting bags under the eyes by burning the candle at both ends
.
Please don't be insulted by these remarks, they are given and meant to be received in a friendly way.
Richard.

I guess we all have our own preferences over these things- personally I prefer something at the 'sweet' end of the spectrum, rather than the 'savoury'- so cream, custard etc, rather than fish paste, but if that's what floats their boat I'm quite happy for anyone to splosh with fish paste- just so long as they're not throwing it in my direction...
