WAM Alert - Emmerdale

Postby wam_latex » 02 Jan 2008, 21:18

During the festive break and far away from the magnificent interweb, I read that there is promised to be a food fight on Emmerdale. From what I've seen in the TV guides - it's going to be tomorrow night Thursday 3 Jan 2008 ITV usually scheduled for 7pm.

Further details can be found here...

If you forget to set the DVD or video recorder you may be able to see it on the ITV web site for 30 days after transmission.

Not an Emmerdale fan but the other soaps were so awful over Christmas we could do with a good food fight. I would ask which characters but I wouldn't know them anyway.

Just watched, and, as usual with mainstream tv and film, it didn't come up to expectations, IMHO.
A great opportunity missed for a really messy and amusing restaurant tit-for-tat scene, but just a very quick cat-fight with an incidental bit of mess.
The "after" pics were OK but nothing special. :(
The TV companies need to hire an expert "Splosh Consultant" for these kind of scripts....maybe Bill could apply.

Network TV Splosh Consultant - I could do with the money!

Told though that the Splosh! item made it onto The Best of Graham Norton last night. Don't know how much of it. Think the hard disk may have it as I left it running after Buzzcocks and Lead Balloon.

The Emmerdale episode was very disappointing considering the amount of 'ammunition' they had available on the trolley.
Bottoms Up!

Yep - I was disappointed with the programme given the publicity in the press and the ITV web page.

By way of consolation, I'll post a You Tube link which I find rather interesting....
