The joys (and problems) of sploshing

Postby custardandrew » 09 Dec 2007, 23:06

Well I've had a good weekend.

On Saturday my wife agreed to splosh me. She's not really a fan of being sploshed - but will take the other role. Anyway she said that if I wanted to be messy I had to provide my own food, rather than use up her favourite yoghurts. So I went to the local shop and they had large pots of yoghurt reduced. I bought two. I poured them onto paper plates and my wife ensured I was well splatted. The problem was they were quite fruity yoghurts. I used a drain cover in the bath, but it got full of fruit!!

On Sunday we were doing some decorating with emulsion. I have always wanted to experiment with paint. I cleaned the brushes on my front and my wife used the roller on my back. The sensation of the roller was great. I thought I would get clean very easily as emulsion just washes off my hands. Ah, but I don't have hair on my hands. The paint got stuck in the hairs on my legs, back etc. Maybe this should only be tried a hair-free bodies!!

Anyway I'm clean now and I thought I'd tell you about it.

Paint depends on what kind you use, I would always say poster paint, as it washes off easily and wont bugger up your skin. Though do remember if you are using paint, outfits have a tendcy to die...

By the way when using food for sploshing I think it is best to mix several types of thick gooey foods together in a bowl so that you get a really disgusting gooey mess. As single foods on their own are often not gooey enough.

It's the PVA in a lot of emulsions that causes the problem - it is a glue after all.
