Apologies.....

We would like to apologise if we offended anyone with our last set of pictures.

We thought that because maggots (odd Shaped Balls . . pictures added) and manure (Tracey and horse manure film), have been used before, in seperate shoots, that this type of WAM was acceptable.

We would like to know if it was the manure or the maggots that offended.

Once again we apologise.

I completely missed the pics, but because you were decent enough to put "gross wam" in the title, and i knew it wasnt my thing, so i didn't look at them :)

im on this whole "each to their own" crusade at the moment, but i can understand if something is really offensive...but i never saw it to make any comment on it!

I didn't like either the maggots or the manure, they were both equally bad. However I was sorry that you removed them because I was thoroughly enjoying myself having a rant against censorship and was about to start quoting Voltaire and other philosophers. Nobody can tell me what I may or may not view! That is for me to decide.

I was born and brought up in a country which had censorship; it was called ENGLAND! I could understand that in times of war certain information useful to the enemy must be suppressed but other than that there is no excuse, particularly regarding morals.

It is only since the 1970s that controls have been relaxed somewhat and I worry that if people are not careful we might slip back into the 'dark ages'! Keep fighting to preserve our freedoms.

Personally I found the maggots more repulsive altough I wouldn't count manure in my faves either !

That said, however, I didn't say pictures should be censored. I am pretty much with Soton on this.
I think the whole issue for me, if no-one else, revolved around titling the thread much more accurately than just gross WAM.

To repeat myself a little, we may all have different limits even as far as gross WAM and until there is an agreed definition
of what it constitutes then it is a bit pot luck and I was curious and that's what happened ! So, I learned, I guess.

Anyway, live and let live. I don't have a problem with that.

I don't think you need to apologise. We certainly believe in 'live and let live' here and regret that some people didn't see it that way. I think in 1600 topics there is no harm in the odd one that makes people go "Yuk" even though I didn't personally.

However perhaps the safe answer with things like that is to put a link to the pictures and a description in the post of what people are going to get as there's only so much you can say in a title.

That's a good and sensible compromise. Personally, I'd have given the pictures a miss in that case....the "yuk" limit for me is when the wam becomes a health-hazard, as I'm sure that this one must have been. :(

I don't see a need to apologise either. As I recall, the title was appropriate and sufficiently discriptive.

I didn't like the maggots, but hey, I clicked on the link and scrolled down, so it was nothing you did in posting them.

Thanks for the opportunity to explore new realms, though!

Agreed - nice of you to apologise, but no apology necessary from my viewpoint.

You labelled the post. I looked. I said yuk. I hit the back button. My day wasn't ruined.

I saw the title had a look didn't like it made the "Not my cup of tea" comment and never looked at it again.

No need to apologise, If people don't like what they've sen they don't have to look again do they :?:

Don;t need to be sorry- was a bit confused it was labelled as male wam... but I take it it wasn't you who labelled it.

At the end of the day, noone was hurt. I looked, felt sick then didn't look again, its always interesting to see others bizarre fettishes.

Anyway, just keep an eye out for infections- tape and ring worm x

I did look at the pics when they first went up, since I had enjoyed other of your posts, though i didn't really read the heading properly and was expecting to see something to do with M and M sweets!

I wasn't shocked but more intrigued though it wasn't really my personal type of thing, and i nearly wrote a positive comment praising your courage and asking what made you want to use such things. Only i didn't have time to write.

You don't need to aplogise as everyone seems cool about it now. I do not object to the item being deleted since I approve of the principle of moderation, so agree with the moderators decision - but no harm done - all the best in your future sploshing.

Just to re-iterate...We only deleted the thread AFTER the pictures had been removed by Messy Amature of her own volition. At no point did we ask her to remove the thread nor did we remove it until it was purely text arguing about pictures that no longer existed.
