Body painting - an update

Well, my girlfriend and I had our bodypainting session on Friday night, and very well it went too! I bought 2 x 500ml bottles Rowney pre-mixed bronze, which I thought would be plenty as it covers pretty well (and so it turned out). We couldn't stop giggling at the prospect of what was to come as we set up a heater in the bathroom, laid out a plastic sheet on the floor, decanted the paint into a tray, got naked and grabbed a 2" brush each...

It felt amazing to be painted in swirls and spirals of bronze paint - and looked very tribal. And skin is a lovely surface to apply paint to, because it's so smooth the brush just glides along. Before long we stopped being so restrained and it was time for hand-daubs and eventually full-body smearing and writhing around. She looked incredible covered in bronze paint - like a particularly realistic erotic statue - and yet so soft and slithery under my hands...

Eventually it was time to get clean, and it turned out that a rinse in the shower to get the bulk of the paint off followed by a thorough lathering with some sort of Body Shop shower gel with exfoliant grains in (rather fun in itself!) saw us both perfectly clean again...

All in all, highly recommended. Although next time we're going to use more different colours...

Sounds good, a bit James Bond Goldfinger-esque. But probably a whole lot more fun (and without the rotating number plates - I've gone too far now havent I? )
