Children in Need - Friday 16th November 2007

Postby slimeysophie » 19 Sep 2007, 15:12

Hiya!!!

I am planning on doing something spectacular for Children in Need on Friday 16th November. Please could you send me suggestions of what I can do. I am up for natrasol and sweet stuff!!! I am not afraid of pies either!!! If you have any ideas as to what outfit or what you would like me to use, please let me know.

I am doing this to try and raise money for Children in Need. I realise that there is no way I can collect donations but please please please donate and let me know how much you do (in aid of this event) so that I can send off how much I raised. I am hoping to get a few people involved so it wont just be a solo effort!

Unlike the bidding on ebay at the moment, 100% of this is going to Children in Need and I will have a certificate at the end to show how much I raised.

Please please please donate. The more is donated, the more happens!

Let me know what you think and any ideas you have!!!

Thank you

No problem, we would need to do it prob a week before the event giving time for vid ans stills to be put up on sites etc.

If Dids was free could get him to come over for the shoot.

If Andrea was free, could get her across as she lives in Notts somewhere nr Dids.

(Dids will let you know more about Andrea at London.)

Send me a pm Sophie with your ideas and how we plan to raise the money etc.

regards

Hi Andy,

I've emailed Sophie regarding this, and I've offered the use of our studio in Bedale for it. The studio is plenty large enough to be able to accommodate all the mess and people needed. The main messy area is 29 ft x 16 ft. I'm sure if we all work together on this we can show that those involved with WAM in any way are doing something positive for such a worthwhile charity.

Email me and we can go into more details of how we can get everyone together to arrange things.

Terry
I'm from Bristol, and from late 1998 - 2002 I ran a WAM club (TNMMC). After TNMMC closed I retired from WAM, but I've made a comeback and pleased to say TNMMC is back.

Hav'nt even looked at my schedules for november as yet so dont know what or where i will be on this date.

I think its a brill idea though and will have a word with Cede when i see her next week to see if we cant do something ourselves to tie in if we cant make the actual shoots.Maybe a one off special for the highest price offered and add it to any kitty.Any takers on that?

Following on from my less than serious reply yesterday i have come up with a more serious suggestion.

As it is Children in Need why not dress up as school children and as regular fundraiser is to sit in a bath full of beans so giving it a Splosh related slant why not cover yourselves of fill your clothes with a bath full of beans.

Just a thought

I think I must look at this site with my eyes closed sometimes, I've just noticed this. Well done Sophie, if you need anyone else for gunging to raise money I'm more than happy to be there.
