How did the Splunch go?

Postby Hayley » 05 Aug 2007, 01:56

Hi

It's late but I'm guessing you are probably all still clubbing/drinking....

However I would love to know how the Splunch went.

Hi Hayley,

My guess is that the rest of them are

1) still recovering from yesterday evening's after-splunch clubbing (or whatever)

2) travelling home

3) caught up in Leeds Pride, which I gather is on today.

As a result of plans being thrown into turmoil last week, I was able to make it after all. I thought it went very well. I'm sure Miss Helen will have a full list of attendees for you in due course. I can't remember everyone who was there so I won't start a list as I'd be bound to miss people off it! There must have been getting on for 20 there.

I took a couple of pics on the cameras of Miss Helen and DungeonMasterOne so I guess they'll appear at some stage.

I had to leave at teatime as I had a 2-hour drive home before having to go to work in the evening. That's the way it goes.

I'm hoping we'll see some familiar faces (and maybe some new ones too) at the next Warrington meet on the third Sat afternoon in October (Sat 20th October).

I had a fantastic time!

Thanks to Mike Nomic, I was also able to make it after all, last minute, and I was happy to see new faces among familiar ones. Also happy to drink vodka and talk complete and utter bumph!

Andy and Helen will have a full list of who was there, but there was at least 16 people by my count.... I could be wrong!

Only just got home, will speak more on this later, but I had an absolutely lovely day and night and can't wait for the next one!

P.S. Nurse Wendy, hope you're okay today! That was quite the dramatic moment eeep! xxx

I got back about 2ish, went online but was so knackered I crashed out for a bit instead.

Thanks to everybody who attended it was a really good turn out we had at least 16 people when we were in the pub.

For me it started on the train on the way up their Wamadeus rang from his hotel, where he was chillin watching the cricket. Then as I arrived I bumped into Mike nomic as I got nr the travelodge. As I walked through the door their was Dolly, that was a nice suprise. Big thanks to Mike for stepping in and helping Dolly out with travel arrangments etc, Cheers Mike.

Then as I went to find the pub I bumped into Claymore as he was walking up the street. Then we all went to the pub and had a laugh. Later on some people moved on. The rest of us went for a meal. Dolly was flashing bottom. How rude!!! made me laugh.. Followed by more beer and stories.

Was a great day, will put the list up of people once either Dungeonmaster or Miss Helen have put the group photo up.

regards

Andy

Thanks to everyone who came, it was a blast! Sorry I wasn't a better hostess, being zonked from a week of sunstroke, driving long distances and erratic sleep patterns (none of which I regret BTW), but it was great to see you all, we had a terrific turnout and I look forward to doing it again in the Autumn!

Here's the version of the group pic that was on my camera (I daresay DM1's pic will be better quality because he's got a better camera than me). Here you see (clockwise from top left hand corner) Mike Nomic, Decadent Doll, a mysterious hidden individual (sorry!), James, Wamadeus, DungeonmasterOne, Angel Mandy, Yours Truly, Lady Jasmine, David, Nurse Wendy, Big Andy and Elouise. Not pictured but also present, Claymore Wam and TAFKA GungeSlut (sorry I forgot your current handle!).

Had a great time, thanks Miss Helen and co for sorting the meet out.

Another great trip. Like the pic. . .

By the way - The Gunge slut handle was changed on the forums due to stalker issues so please no one mention the new handle name in case the stalker still lurks.

Cheers

Great photo. Looks like a really fun meet - as usual, gutted I missed it, and really jealous.

The British WAM community just seems to get stronger and stronger, thanks to a combo of the internet, and people willing to attend/organise meetings.

Nice one, everyone!

I'll pass that on to her, she'll appreciate it. She was OK in the end, TBH it was just the heat and lack of air. She and Lady-J (who also suffered from the heat, and is currently in the middle of some fairly deep (and hence painful) dental work) both enjoyed it - Nurse W in particular found chatting about music most enjoyable - she's a classically trained singer, and also plays several instruments.

What most of the non-smoking participants missed was Lady J cooling down by having a pint of cold water poured into her costume in the alleyway outside! :D

It was great to meet everyone once again, I even managed to remember some of the faces from last time! :D Will get round to emailing various people in due course when time permits.

Cheers!

Hi

I am very sorry to have missed it (too much work editing Gilly and Julie), it looks like a mighty fine day/night out. I feel quite left out now!

I love it when people turn out to have unexpected talents - a trained singer, flautist, Blockbusters contestant and the world's only singing drag escapologist were there to name but a few.

Back in Toon Town (as St Leonards will be known after Helen's comment), I spent Sat night standing outside the pub. So many people smoke in our local, even though I don't any more it's the only way to talk to anyone. Pity the poor band (heavy rock outfit The Donkeys) playing to an empty pub. So much so, at one point, the landlady came out with a school cane and smacked everyone's bum to get us all to back inside!

Sorry I miised you all.

LOL! Are you sure it isn't a fetish pub in disguise? 8)

It's had its moments. Leather, PVC, crossdressing..... though that has gone a bit quiet of late. Amongst the regulars, we do have one couple who used to make bondage furniture (and demontrate it) and a couple who are both Doms who have their own dungeon (including dentists chairs) and invite subs round to dinner!

Oh and a local truck driver came in dressed as Superman for no reason one Wednesday night....

You can see why we fit in.
