As you can see there are various meets happening these days and that is a good way to start getting to know people. Perhaps a South West meet is a good idea afterall, Mike.

I think there'd be enough people to make it work, Jonny and co and there seem to be loads of cornish /plymouth people about. as well as Mike and others, with enough notice i'd go... i say go for it :)

There are already over two dozen members of the e-mail distribution group for the south-west area of the UK Regional WAM e-mail groups, including Jonny, so if he does get something going, he can easily round up participants there too (and they don't even have to be actively checking this site as it delivers the info to their inboxes - though, hopefully, it'll bring them back into the fold when he does announce it there).

The automatic calendar is set up to send reminders to people on that group for a possible meet-up on the 3rd Sat afternoon in November so that might be a good starting point. It would need to be somewhere easily accessible for both South Wales and the West Country - perhaps Bristol? Anyway ... I'm sure he'll have some ideas - we discussed the possibility briefly after the last Warrington meet and he was musing on starting something up down there. (Next Warrington will be Sat 20th Oct, by the way.)

I know Mike is intrested in trying to get something going in possibly the Bristol area. Their are quite a few people I know in that area, so if sometihng comes of it. Its deffo worth going along.
