What's everyone's favourite gunge?

Postby wamobsessed » 10 May 2007, 06:06

Hi all,

As a new wammer, looking for ideas, I thought rather than being silly and gunging myself in unsuitable stuff, I thought i'd ask, what's everyone's favourite gunge?

Favourite gunge

Postby christh » 10 May 2007, 08:25

Porridge. The missus reckons it's hard to wash off, but I wouldn't know about that.

It covers and clings well, and it's good to eat. You can colour it. It is cheap so you can make a bucket full, or a hip bath if you've got one (hurray for car boot sales!)

Here's a jolly game. Half fill a large bucket with porridge. Mix in some grapes. See how many you can take out (with your mouth,of course). Now if there were two of you ('tis good to dream)...

Health warning: plug your ears first. Cotton wool will do.

1. Golden Syrup
2. Black Treacle
3. Custard

But that's if playing in the dungeon.

The finest messy substance of all, absolute undisputed champion substance, is pure sloppy outdoor clay mud.

There is *nothing* in this world like the feeling of sinking slowly, step by step, into thick liquid clay in your favourite wam outfit. Mud is the king. :D

If its outdoors then estuary mud is the best. If its indoors there is nothing like a messy slapstick scene with loads of buckets of paste and paint.
I want to get messy and muddy

No, the first rule of proper wamming is no earplugs or noseplugs.

Think you must have one of the apocryphal versions of the Splosh Bible, as my copy contains no such instruction?

And verily did the Goddess Sayeth, let them away to the custard pies, to the mudflats, to the lakes of syrup and the cascades of the custards, and to them be applied gunge and goo of every kind that floweth from the bowls, or flieth in the pies, or accumulate in the bathing-chambers and the riverbanks.

And also did She sayeth that let them that are concerned for their own health take whatever precautions they deem suitable, for it pleases my eyes more for my devotees to be happy and joyful in their messiness, and for no cares to worry them in their sinkage into the slop.

Third Book of Slime, Verses 21 and 22.

V23 being the one about they being free to dress or undress as the mood takes them, etc.

Soft, cool, gooey mud. Not clay, but plain brown dirt with just a hint of clay to make it soft and gooey.

But if I HAD TO pick indoor foodsey stuff, then I'd go with mashed potatoes, butter, cold, melty ice cream, warm, greasy gravy, and cooking oil (even though the last time I used oil it took days to completely come out of the pores of my skin, out of the bathtub, and years later those tights still smell like oil!)

this is quite a hard decision, am a big fan of a lot of food products, think my favorite has to be custard, eggs or syrup, cant decide out of them but i did start off with choc sauce originally
