Looks a whole heap of fun, though the event seems rather thin on lady entrants!

Not true. There's been one almost every year.

I stand corrected....but I was only going by what the BBC report said!

I sympathise, Etonman.

After getting a lot of publicity for many years the championships disappeared off the media radar for a decade prior to a couple of local news stories for this year's event. Even they were some weeks ago, so to be honest, I forgot it was on.

Incidentally, I wrote a feature about it for Fiesta back in the 80s!
