Hi all.

Just been there and shot some mobile video footage, so will look at it on my computer when I get home tomorrow and see what it is like. It is the first time I have shot anything on my camera phone so I'm not promising anything, but we'll see. If it's any good I'll try and upload it somewhere.

The event itself was pretty standard glamour stuff with the models dressed in Xena Warrior Princess garb kneeling down in ankle deep mud for some cheesecake shots. The people threre were mostly fleet street photographers but one or two members of the public dropped by.On the plus side there were some nice muddy cleavge and feet moments when they started to rub it over each other later on. 8) On the comedy side there were plenty girly "eeugh" type coments along with the "don't get it in my hair!!" (shame, I often think that's the best part - or is it just me? ).

Anyway, this is your roving reporter signing off. Will update in the next few days.

Thanks for that, Wamadeus. I wasn't exactly in a position to get there myself!

As soon as sploshing participarts start declaring demarkation lines (not the hair, not the face etc) the whole point is lost for me. Besides messy hair is very sexy.

Look forward to seeing the footage but won't be surprised if it aint that great.

Ill Bill

I prefer the full on total coverage if its mud really but its good that these mainstream events happen too.

In the dark days before the internet, "Splosh" mag, etc., we would have thought these pictures were fantastic!
Still nice, though, especially for mainstream ones. :D
(Wish I could get persuade my g/f to wear a "Xena" outfit, even without sploshing! )

Love the vid, would have been even better with a voice over from Easy As or Wamadeus that would have had me in stiches.
