It appears my childhood Tiswas hero Chris Tarrant may have been falsely accused of an assualt at a restaurant.

He told Sky News: "It is just utter nonsense. There was no aggro, there was no temper, there was no problem."

Seems like a Tiswas moment to me

As he admitted he had asked the man to leave him alone to talk with his colleagues before "lobbing" some cutlery onto his table.

I think the cage is too good a place for the accuser. Chris gets hassled alot by the public so hope this all sorts itself out without going any further.

I wasn't there so don't know the facts but thought it would be good if Tiswas fans could please add support to Chris Tarrant on this thread

What boils my piss about this if you or I rang the police to tell them some yobs were throwing stones at your car/house/granny you would be lucky if they turned up in a week, if at all...
