Off topic question (or maybe not) about media player.

Hello there,

We have some home video footage that we have now burned onto a dvd. So far the only stuff we have transferred is some stuff from our "special" nights in which mainly features Frilly, pvc clothing, a vast array of sex toys and some wierd bear of a bloke who is apparently me.

There are also quite a few scenes of Frilly getting messy in the bath.

Our question is this. Can you capture stills of dvd footage through something like media player? If so we could then post a few.

im not sure about media player, but i've taken screen shots from Power Dvd which is software you can download for free!

You can also do screen captures from Nero Showtime as well! If you have a Nero enabled burner then you should already have it. If not try www.nero.com

Will have to discuss that one with Frilly after she gets up but thanks for the offer. Stills may be the best option as she may only want the footage shown where her face is disguised by the gunge.

Of course discussion may be difficult if she gets choked by the breakfast the kids are putting together for her.

Awwww thats so sweet! I remember making breakfast in bed for my mum when i was a kid, it was nearly always terrible. I did make good toast though. lol

One of ours is nearly nineteen so hardly a nipper any more it's just that she lets the small snotling do the toast.

Okay so we have Power DVD, we have set up a folder to store captures and right clicking on the capture option lets us select "save to file".

But then nothing happens and there are no pics in the file.

Can anybody help?

i use windvd4 that come with the comp a few years ago to capture stills from a dvd, not used your system
good luck though
