Mud and Pigpens?

Anyone ever have a go in a pigpen to get muddy? I grew up in the city but as a youngin' it always seemed like a fun place to play. You have an animal that has an excuse for being dirty, and whenever you go out to feed him or clean the pen, well it'd be a perfect opportunity to climb in, pet him a time or two, hey I'm already dirty, why not wallow a bit? It seemed like the perfect solution (if you lived on a farm). No one telling you not to get your clothes dirty, no one asking you why you are dirty/in the mud.
Of course this was all before the days of the internet and under parental guidances who wish to keep their kids to a reasonable level of cleanliness
Nowadays it seems less sensible and more work as an adult. There's plenty of muddy activities, from the annual charity mud volleyball/football (soccer to you guys)/joggings to just getting a bunch of renecks together with pickup trucks and tearing up a muddy field that wouldn't require the care, housing, and feeding of an animal. Of course, if you had one of those Vietnamiese Potbelly pigs as a pet, I suppose you'd have an excuse for keeping a mudpit in the corner of the yard still...
