Hi
As you know, Nochex recently axed Splosh! from their credit card billing service with no warning cos they decided our site was too adult for them. We are currently finding an alternative.
In the meantime, you can still pay us by credit card in the UK, thanks to our mate Muckygirl who does a lot of trading on Ebay. Here's what to do.
1) Decide what you want to buy and total up the cost. Do NOT use the online order form.
2) Instead, go to
https://secure.nochex.com and send the money to
muckygirl@aol.com. Do not list products.
3) Email us at
sploshcentral@aol.com with what you'd like to buy.
4) We will send it in the usual way.
We hope to get the online shopping cart working with a new billing company as soon as possible.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hayley

I've been wondering if this will affect the repeat monthly subscriptions to GSH, etc?

FEAR NOT!
THIS DOES NOT AFFECT GILLY'S SITE AT ALL!
All the subscriptions, pay per view etc are handled by another company who are perfectly happy and in place and working fine. It only affects credit card sales of DVDs, mags, books and phsyical goods from the Splosh! Shop Pages.

No need now for temporary solutions.
I am happy to say that we have a new credit card billing service that covers both UK and International orders in place and operational on our DVD, video, magazine and book pages.
So get those orders in!

Not sure what you mean, Val.
You have ALWAYS ben able to buy any of our products by cheque, cash, postal order or even pints of bitter if you hppen to be in the pub with us just by posting your order in the usual way. The shopping basket will even add it all up for you and print off an order form.
The downloads (when they come) may be a bit more complicated to do by cash and cheque, but the DVDs etc have always been easy.

Hi Hayley,
I'm sorry to here you've been victim of the same sort of problems as me. What is it with these people? its not like we're selling hardcore or even mild porn! If WH smith will stock things like Mayfair or even Loaded I fail to see why these companies get the arse with us. Anyway I'm glad you've got it fixed. My new payment method is pretty much in place now, we're just working out how to get downloadable films into the site and should be back up and running soon. I've shot lots of new stuff but its all with the studio at the moment, I didn't see the point taking possession until I'm ready to us it but as soon as I get the discs I'll send you some pictures.
Love, Clare xxxx

I suspect UK and European companies are somewhat more flexible in their approach, but the US seems to be very differently from us - the population in general is far more religious, and that influences things. I believe from comments in other forums that PayPal is owned by fundamentalist Christians, hence the anti-erotica stance.

It isn't just the Americans, the same attitude applies everywhere. Probably because they can get away with it and there are so many of them, "adult" businesses are treated like shit. Encourage them to join when the companies are starting up then ditch them as "offensive" once your CC billing company makes money.
We have never used Paypal because theyare famus for ditching adult clients and running off with their money - though to be fair it does say in their small print that they will do this. Nochex and Moneybookers knew we were an adult business all along and welcomed us as such with open arms - then changed their mind after a few months without any warning or notice period. Ozbill got dumped by their bank because one of their 30 clients turned out to be fraudulent (without Ozbill's knowledge) and they, wrongly, got the blame. As all Ozbill's clients were 'adult' the bank was far harsher than they might have been in other circumstances.
Anyway, the new company seems to work okay and orders are trickling in. However I do wonder when they will "review their procedures" and we'll get the boot yet again.
