Leeds Splunch - official release

Here's the official promo release for the Splunch, if anyone wishes to copy and paste this anywhere to help spread the word, I'd be much obliged (in particular I'm unable to post on UMD at the moment owing to a cock-up with my password, so maybe Andy could do the honours for me there).
-------
The first ever Leeds Splunch will take place around 2:00pm-6:00pm on the afternoon of Saturday 3rd of March in the upstairs room of Blayd’s Bar, 3-4 Blayd’s Yard, Lower Briggate, Leeds.
If things are swinging, interested parties can then carry on together elsewhere to sample the delights of Leeds’ nightlife.
>What is a “splunch”?
Short for a “sploshers’ munch”. We could have called it a Wunch (wammers’ munch) but like splunch better, evoking as it does the sound of a large, sloppy pie landing squarely on the face.
A munch, for those that don’t know, is simply a social meet of pervy folk in a vanilla environment to get to know each other and have a drink together. No actual play takes place at munches, but they are a great place for meeting potential play partners and setting up future sessions.
>Who’s welcome?
Everybody over 18 interested in WAM/sploshing/messy fun/quicksand/wetlook and related kinks, whether male, female, transgender, straight, gay or bi.
>What are the rules?
Basically be civil and have fun. A munch is neither an out and out pick-up joint nor is it Wammers’ Anonymous.
Because we have a private room in the venue (which itself is discreetly tucked away in back alley) we have a bit more freedom than we might have if we met in Weatherspoon’s, but keep it decent and always respect others.
Dress – come as you like, within reason (ie wear something and keep the little buddy out of sight). Moderate fetish wear and crossdressing is acceptable.
Conduct – if someone doesn’t want to talk, respect that. Respect people’s limits and don’t be a jerk about getting only what you want. Just chill out, keep it positive and have fun!
Smoking – No smoking is permitted in the upstairs room, so nicotine addicts will need to go to the public bar downstairs if they wish to light up.
Drinking – as much as you like! The management at Blayd’s have very kindly granted us use of the room for free, so make it worth their while by buying lots to drink! J
>How can I get to this merry beano in the People’s Republic of West Yorkshire?
Blayd’s Bar is just a few minutes’ walk from Leeds central train station, so getting there by rail from anywhere in the country should be straightforward and there are several car parks nearby.
From the railway station, cross the road to the East (towards Boar Lane) and turn right, going down Swinegate through the left hand tunnel under the railway past the Cockpit on your left (big Leeds music venue). Go all the way to the bottom, past the multi-storey car park on your left to the junction at the bottom, with a newsagent on the corner and the Malmaison hotel opposite. Turn left up the side street just after the newsagent and bear right into Blayd’s Yard. Blayd’s Bar is on your left.
Grab a drink at the bar and follow the signs upstairs to find the Splunch.
If you come by bus to the bus station, you need to head to the bottom of Lower Briggate. Just below the railway bridge on the right hand side (if heading downhill), between a tailor’s shop and an adult shop you’ll find a small alley marked “Blayd’s Passage”. Head up Blayd’s Passage (insert joke here) into Blayd’s Yard.
You can see the location marked on a streetmap of Leeds at http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dl ... 32&A=Y&Z=1
>Hmm, sounds like it might be pricey. I’m an utter tightwad, you know.
Entry to the splunch is completely free. Look forward to seeing you there!
