Rel Food gungings - mixing savoury and sweet - thoughts?

Following on from another thread:

What do people here think of mixed sweet and savoury messes? In the archive section of The Gungemaster Photosets there's a scene Lady Jasmine did where after she'd done a nice carefull full-saturation uniform custard test, she cleaned up, then pulled on a swimsuit, old pair of shorts, and mucky wellies, walked back into the pool of custard left from the first shoot, filled the swimsuit, shorts and her wellies with beans and spaghetti, and ended up rolling about on the floor covered in a mix of all three messes.

She really enjoyed that shoot and we're partial to doing something similar again, probably with more and fancier clothes, but a few folk seemed to think that mixing the substances like that was a bad idea.

Thoughts or comments, anyone?

Yep great idea, but i`d love to see the divine Miss Pink get the sweet & savory treatment. With plenty of pies

We mix stuff up all the time, the only one where it was a bit too bad was the last shoot we had a container and Miss Helen filled with all sorts with a view to it being poured over somebody in the end we scrapped the idea cos it just stank something rotten.

You need to be careful in what you select not just for the smell its also the look of the photos if you are taking any at the time.

Andy

I have done shoots such as you suggest with Chantelle and they went down very well.

At the present time with Mercedes we are mainly doing either sweet OR savoury seperatly but we have done a couple mixing foods such as cream, custard, rice, beans, tomatoe sauce etc as well.

Personally i think the more messier the appearance the better just get it in the right sequence

I dont think theres anything wrong with mixing, the more the merrier! I guess it depends what you are doing with it, if you are just enjoying the feel or wanting to make lovely messy pics its fine, if you want to stick it in your mouth it might be a different matter.

Having done session mixing savoury and sweet - it's defo NOT a good look in my view.

But if you can withstand all the savoryness then go for it.

Thanks for all the responses, it certainly looks as if mixed-mess should be on our agenda in the future. I'll leave the poll open and check on it occasionally to see how the percentages change.

Cheers!
