It has some great pubs and clubs and, if you are VERY lucky, even has live performances by our Dolly. Gilly's just up the road too. There is a thriving gay scene which means, even if you are not, the town is very tolerant of all forms of dress and most forms of behaviour.

I wouldn't recommend anywhere specific cos it depends on your taste but there is such a huge range of nightlife (and daylife) that you are bound to find something to your liking.

Oh and we are not far away, should you want to buy anything!

spooky as just this morning finished reading Robert rankins The Brightonomicom!!!!

Been down to Brighton a fair few times for gigs and things over the years .. are some good pubs and some bad ones too .... depends what your looking for a lot of the club scene is down towards the seafront as long as most of the hotels it seems! About once a month a freind has a club night she runs called LowLife a mix of EBM/Techno/Dance/Alternative/Darkwave type sounds usually is last weekend if the venues don't screw things up!

def recommend having a wander around the "lanes" you never know what you'll find, there were or are several alterantive clothing stores, cd/record places, comic/animae places, and general strange bric a brac type places! Oh and you forever get turned in on yourself and not quiet sure where you are but always end up back in the same place it seems!

Thank you for the info.
I am down for one night, I am the shy type so I will go around and see what it is like. I do not mind what other people do and would like to give some things ago but I just have not got the bottle.
