To start the ball rolling, I've been told - at various times in my life - that I look like ...

Gene Wilder (when he was Willy Wonka)
Mark Knopfler (singer for Dire Straits)
Jimmy Nail (thanks for that - really boosted my self confidence)
and
Tim Roth (Reservoir Dog)

Oh - and a girl in pub once started freaking out because she swore blind I was like an identical twin for her cousin.

i got told i used to look like garry neville dont no if thats a good or bad thing

when i had jet black hair i got told christina ricci, but i think they were just slagging off my massive forehead.

got told i looked like Lauren Ambrose from 6 ft under once.

When I was in school my mates were all convinced that I sneaked away of a weekend to film!!!!

i've seen punky brewster, hehe good times!

as the user name might suggest i look like andy johnson the footballer.
have had people coming up to me asking for pics and autographs

I have been compared with the late Richard Whiteley (whose name is not too far removed from my own).
And my current ladyfriend has appeared as a contestant on Countdown. - Spooky!!!

Just remembered another - when I had long straggily hair, I used to be a big Carter USM fan. I went to loads of their gigs, and often wangled my way backstage.

Once while I was sitting chatting to Fruitbat, someone came up and asked me if I'd sign my name on the back of their tour t-shirt, thinking I was Jimbob.

The poor guy was mortified when he realised his blunder (there were about 7 or 8 other people around the table and they all cracked up).

At that time, I was often told I looked like Jimbob. So that's Tim Roth, Willy Wonka, Jimmy Nail, Jimbob from Carter and Mark Knopfler ... Aye Caramba!!!

Somebody once suggested I looked like Quasimodo - if he'd let him himself go a bit.

When younger and I had the full beard (and hair) , I had a hint of Willy Rushton...

Somebody once said I was a 'fat bloke'!!!!!! oops sorry wrong room I'll get me coat.

When at school, this is going back to 1979, a girlie at a local disco approched me and said "Here, you look just like Sting!"

Sadly as time as passed Sting took up Yoga and started to look younger. I took up beer and fags and started to look older.
