O/T - Site for DD

http://www.trolleyspotting.co.uk/

Don't know if you've seen this yet, DD, but I thought of you as soon as I saw it; it's a bizarre database with scrolling map interface logging the locations of found trolleys in various cities, which model of trolley they are, the stores from which they have strayed, how far they are from home and other details. The sheer level of obsessive detail these entries go to moves from what at first seemed to be a harmlessly eccentric idea into something downright scary. Yegods, there are even hi-res photographs of each instance and lengthy blog accounts of each trolley-spotting expedition

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing the new "Belfast" section containing the entry "Location - being rode through the drive-through KFC by a madwoman dressed as Bodicea". Given the level of obsession on display on this site which screams out "fetish" in the textbook definition of the word, there may even be a brand new fringe fetish market there just waiting to be cornered. When www.trolleydolly.com is up and making thousands from subscriptions and video sales, I hope you'll remember who gave you the tip-off.

ROTFLOL!!!

www.trolleydolly.com - Looks like someone's already got that one hosted, though all it says is "Coming August 2005", which suggests their timetable's slipped just a tad...
