Muddy dogs

What was the muddiest your dogs have ever gotten and did they ever get stuck in the mud before? If yes, please tell what happened in detail

I long had golden Labrador whom could be counted upon to find mud whenever he was out, we used to frequent a forest walk along side a tidal river and many the lab would disappear out into the river. This was made all the worse at low tides where Ben would lollop through the thick clay like material and roll in the slop. Upon returning you could make out his eyes but the rest of him would be a thick black coat or mud. I do recall him getting stuck on a few occasions.
